The beautiful cover for The Hum of Concrete has been finalised and this is the result. We are all very happy and proud to have produced such an amazing looking book. Hopefully, the cover will entice all kinds of readers to pick it up, read it and love it.

It will appear in selected book shops and you can order the paperback or Kindle eBook format from this website in mid-March 2012.

Almost there!

December and 2011 is almost over and a thrilling new year is about to begin. MidnightSun will send our first novel off to the printer next week, after some very intense weeks working on both the cover and the internal design with wonderful Jenny Grigg. We cannot recommend her highly enough! Allan Taylor came on board and did an amazing job illustrating the book and drawing maps to help the reader find their way in the Swedish city of Malmö, where The Hum of Concrete takes place. Soon we will be able to reveal the cover here and give you a few samples of the beautiful drawings. Until then, have a fabulous New Year and 2012 full of great reading!

Feeling Malmö

As you pull the blinds up and see the layer of powder covering the spidery limbs of the young beech outside your second storey bedroom window you know it will be a Sunday like no other. Breakfast is a quick affair. Convincing your friend to come along tobogganing doesn’t take long. Finding stray gloves and beanies Continue reading Sneak Peek of The Hum of Concrete

Welcome to MidnightSun Publishing

MidnightSun Publishing is a new and exciting publishing company based in Adelaide, Australia. We believe that books matter. We believe that books are still important in this digital world and we aim to bring books to you in whatever format you prefer.

Good books change lives; they carry readers away to another world and another time; they make us laugh and cry and think about things that have never occurred to us before. Good books challenge and transform, they validate our own experiences and bring back long lost memories. Reading is an escape from reality but reading a good book also helps you to deeply immerse yourself in the lives of others.
