Leaving Adelaide
On Friday 10 May 2013, Kim Lock and Anna Solding flew to Darwin for a whirlwind promotional tour of Kim’s book Peace, Love and Khaki Socks, with a launch in the city library, morning tea at the Childbirth Education Association and a Mother’s Day reading at the NT Writers’ Centre. On Saturday 11 May 2013, Kim was invited to speak at Childbirth Education Association’s morning tea
On Sunday 12 May 2013, Anna and Kim were both invited to participate in the Mother’s Day reading on the lawns outside the NT Writers’ Centre
This Darwin tour has been an amazing experience. We have met so many friendly readers and all three events were very well organised.
