Suddenly everything seems to be happening at the same time here in MidnightSun world. Anna Solding was interviewed this morning on Arts Breakfast at Radio Adelaide with Cath Kenneally. Next week it will be Zanesh Catkin’s turn. The interviews will eventually be released as podcasts and displayed here.
The last few weeks have been busy for Zanesh with appearances at the Lee Marvin Readings as well as a presentation at The University of Adelaide, where Anna will also appear to talk about her work in September. However, before then there are plenty of other engagements to enjoy.
In a week’s time Anna will be busy at the Salisbury Writers’ Festival where she will be holding a workshop called ‘Know Your Characters’ and be part of a panel about the future of publishing alongside Sean Williams, Connor Tomas O’Brien and Kerryn Goldsworthy. Contact the Salisbury Writers’ Festival if you want to take part in the workshop, on Sunday 26 August 2012 10am-12.30pm. There might still be a few places left.
Then it’s time to fly to Melbourne for the big launch of both Pangamonium and The Hum of Concrete at the Melbourne Writers’ Festival in the Yarra Building in Federation Square at 2.30pm on Saturday 1 September.
Exhausting – but exhilarating!
